The masterful orchestrator: at times listening but often leading. We're looking for a Product Owner for our mobile operations. A successful product release is the culmination of a lot of business and technical conversations, and you thrive in that hybrid space. You are a rare mix of project management, technical, and design sensitivity. You write clearly and you make your voice heard.
Ideally, you would have overseen the launch of a mobile application before. You will be dealing with both English and Japanese-speaking designers, developers, and business managers, so knowledge of both languages is important.
You are a fan of Kanban boards, user stories, epics, and well-defined tasks. You are comfortable talking with developers at the code level, even though you are not coding yourself.
If pixels are your way of interacting and enhancing the world, and if recently you've been designing for the mobile space, we'd like to hear from you. We're looking for an experienced mobile designer that can help us craft the UX and UI execution of our native mobile experience.
Ideally, you would have some knowledge of design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other auxiliary tools like mind-mapping tools. You have an inquisitive personality, you ask hard questions, but you also can come up with your own answers. You are not afraid to be challenged and to defend your ideas and explorations.
A design portfolio is a must for this application.
Code is your world. You've used your architecture design and software engineering skills to build scalable infrastructures (databases, computing engines, scripts, APIs, etc) used by successful products before. You have a logical and inquisitive mindset, which you apply to solve technical problems across the whole spectrum of back-end development. You like code that is well-written and neatly kept, and you are familiar with working both in Agile and in more phase-gated ways. Being part of fast-moving teams is not new to you.
Ideally, you would have created back-end systems that are deployed in the cloud and that are used by native mobile applications. You have a good understanding of the latest technologies out there and you keep yourself up-to-date on new packages, frameworks, and organization processes.
